Since its conception in March of 2003, the label has worked with such artists as Boomslang, Roots, Vegas Temper, and Mindset X. Holding the record as New England's top-selling independent label for nearly three years running, Rat Pak's success and longgevity are owed to more than quality bands and a solid marketing approach to today's ever-changing entertainment industry.
Owner and Founder Joe attributes Rat Pak's success to taking on all aspects of the industry.
Joe quotes "In this day and age, as an indie label you have to do more than just have good bands, you have to aggressively and consistently attack all facets of the market... be the ultimate networker... and above all else be true to those you come into contact with."
Working from this philosophy, Rat Pak provides a full gamut of offerings. including multiple live shows per year (encompassing both national and regional acts), band management, full distribution services, and a weekly live radio show entitled The Big Rock Show, whose recent interview guests have included members of Judas Priest, Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Testament, Godsmack, Static X, Shadows Fall, Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, Ozzy Osbourne's band and many more.
The Big Rock Show has grown into syndication on both FM and Internet Radio Stations and maintains a base audience of 7000 listeners a week.
Rat Pak Records has also released several compilation CD's which feature not only Rat Pak bands, but also include side projects of artists from bands such as Queensryche, Metal Church, Rob Zombie, Dropbox, Soulfly, Stuck Mojo and more.
